Schoolgirl Hitchhikers

Not a great transfer to DVD of this film but I found it entertaining. Picture quality not great but acceptable with rich colour. Sound quality was not so good but I've witnessed a lot worse from some of these old cult movies transferred to DVD and again was acceptable. Acting was reasonable from the two female characters but a bit shaky from the rest. Putting this aside I don't consider these factors hugely important to the overall entertainment value of this film. A very sexy film with the two female characters having a very natural 70's beauty.I enjoy a wide range of different movies from the classics of Borowczyk, Fellini or Jodorowsky, to the cult giallo of Fulci, Argento or Soavi and the zombie classics of Romero but there's nothing wrong with a bit of pointless sexploitation like this for entertainment and was a great way to spend a lazy weekend afternoon (better than the rubbish on offer on TV that afternoon anyway).Not a Rollins classic but highly watchable and will watch again just to see the beautiful Gilda Arancio and Joelle Coeur in all their natural beauty.
