American Idol - PC

I don't know why everybody is saying that this game is trying to create the next Kelly Clarkson.....I'm trying to create the next Justin Guarini.Anyway this is a great game it's just like the real american idol show you get to create your own style for your created character in the game.Also you get 3 juges who rant or rave at your moves to a choice of 20 hip songs.Also what I think is best of all you get to video tape your performance on to a American Idol website and let the world decide rather you should be the AMERICAN IDOL.I think that you sould get this game because I know I will be the first in line to get mine to add to the rest of my big collection of American Idol merchandise.

My daughter (8 years-old) enjoys this game way more than I thought that she would. A lot of the songs on it aren't familiar to her, but the game play is really set up so you don't have to know the songs to win. A lot of hand-eye coordination is needed for playing this game. I'd recommend this game for anyone 8 & up who likes computer games and board games. (It is set up much like a board game)

This game is good but there are only a limited number of song selections which can make it boring or difficult if you do not know or like them. I found it hard to move the mouse to make the person dance. I hope an expansion pack comes out soon to fix some of the problems and boost the song selection. My advice? Try it before you buy it.

the new codemasters game blows this one away but this game is ok too. but these are the bad things about itonly 20 songsnot the real judgesthe ending "is bad"you can't do any of the audition stuff you start right at the final two which dissapointed me the mostno singing just dancingwhen it says style with thousands of looks don't get excited because there are not too manywhen it says over 20 hits don't get excited because there are onlt 21 or 22 songs in this gameI used to think this game was the greatest but now codemasters came out with one this game has hundreds of improvements to make.I wouldn't reccomend this game to anybody (unless you collect this stuff) otherwise get the codemasters one.

THe game is good preety much except that a micro phone doesn't come with it!! IT only has 21 songs and unless they do and expansion set the game will get boring. there are only two judges that don't critique you they give you compliments!! There are only a few dance moves and closthe I'd wait to buy it until they make an expannsion set IF they do!!

This game is so awesome.. I am a fan of the tv show and when i heard it was going to be a pc game i just had it get.. My fave part is the shopping for new clothes for your contesant(duh! im only a normal girl here). My least fave part is singing i didnt know you had to sing but i found out there is a section to have you mic off and you dont sing.. This game is so fun yet it takes at least 1 to 2hours to play depending on how long it take for you get 1000 star power.. Yeah you have to earn 1000 star power then the first one to the American Idol stage gets a bonus(100 starpower) then you do you last preformance and the one with the most star power at the end wins and gets to record a video and is able to post on the American Idol game website.. Ive posted like 9 so far.. If you like American Idol and to shy about trying out for real heres you chance to try out and not have Simmon saying how bad you are.. This is game gets a A+ and more..

The "American Idol: The Search For A Superstar" game is fantastic! The game is obviously based on the hit reality show American Idol: The Search For A Superstar. This product includes a microphone and over 20 songs for you to sing along to. The point of the game is to push the correct keys when they appear on the screen, ... You will be able to create your own characters (clothes, hairstyle ect.) and up to two players may play at a time. Then at the end the judges will tell you what they think, but unlike the show Simon isn't as harsh with his comments. I think this (approximately) ($$$) game is well worth the money. So I'd suggest you hurry up and go get your own copy of this amazing game fast!
