It is what it is and that ain't bad!
I bought the Panda and the Frog for our girls to have on our Labor Day 3-day canoe trip. They loved them. Again, these headlamps aren't my headlamps! They aren't going to light up the forest. They aren't waterproof. They might not last 5 years.... But, they brought joy to my girls. They felt more secure as we headed off into nature. They could see the path in front of them. They could find their stuff in the tent. They laughed at themselves and each other. But most of all, they felt more equipped to handle critters and darkness. And, that made for a delightfully peaceful family get away.I highly recommend (as long as this not primary light source).

I bought these for my grandchildren and the headbands are ...
I bought these for my grandchildren and the headbands are too wimpy. The elastic band won't stay at the cinched up small size but stretches to it's maximum circumference. I ended up stapling the elastic together. Very disappointing.

Came broken
I bought two of these for my kids for Valentine's Day. The dog and the lion. Both came broken. The cushion for the head part fell right off the dog when we opened the package and the lion had a plastic piece broken off that keeps the elastic on. So disappointing for my kids to open up for their valentines present.

Heads up! Headlight!
Grandson loves this light! He's 3 years old. The headband is adjustable and it fits great.

Kids love it, but it's just okay.
I have trouble keeping the band on the plastic pieces so the animal head falls off the black band, maybe it's just my rowdy boy but then again this is a child product. The ON button is also super sensitive so when I'm packing up it gets turned on inside the bag and stays on until I notce which means it eats up extra battery life. The kids totally love these and cute factor is a 10.
