While the unit is nt heavy duty and would not do well in an open window in windy areas, for general iffice or home use, it works great.Cutting the vanes to fit different size windows just requires a pair of scissors and the ability to tie simple knots if whole vanes need removing for less ligh windows. I did both for mine (see photo).

This blind is very cheap and looks very flimsy however when fitted it is quite robust and if handled gently should last and work well
