5'2" and these are a great fit for those with smaller waist and more curvy bottom. My only complaint is the petite length was still an inch or so longer than it should be. Still, great quality overall for the price!

My 92 year-old mother-in-law was frustrated that she couldn't find these in the store. Her old ones were worn out and she wanted new ones with the same fit. These were perfect when she tried them on. We got 2 pair in the dark wash and black. They look really nice and are very comfortable.

I didn't dislike these but, they were approximately 6 inches too long for my short frame.

Over the past year, I've lost over 50 pounds and am now at a weight where I feel in good enough shape to wear jeans. Of course, jeans are not what they were when I was growing up so the search for comfortable, stylish jeans that don't feel like stretched out, soggy plastic pants after a few hours wear has been arduous as Hell.I have bought and returned more than a few styles of NYJD, Universal Standard, Wranglers, LL Bean, Land's End, Torrid and even some of the Lee styles. You can call me the Goldilocks of Jeans-these are too big, these are too stretchy, these are too long, these have too low of a rise and so on. I don't really know why I ordered this particular style-probably desperation-but when I put them on, it was obvious they were just right. They come up to my natural waist, I could slide them on easily over my thighs, they hug my curves without looking like they were sprayed on, there is no waist gap in the back, the front pockets are usable, the inseam on the petites are long enough so I don't look like I'm wearing what we used to call 'high waters,' I can zip them up without having to lie down and they stay zipped, there is no pouching below my stomach. They are normal looking, servicable jeans and they don't bag to the next size up after a day's wear. All this for $21.99! WOW!I just ordered 2 more pair in different rinses. After 6 months of searching for 'just right jeans,' Goldilocks struck gold with these! : )EDIT: 4/20/19I adore these jeans. I bought a pair last September after I'd lost a great deal of weight and wore them until they no longer fit. I switched over to LLBean and Talbots jeans, but as I continued to lose more and more weight (90 pounds to date) it got absurdly pricey to be buying $95 jeans over and over as my shape changed so I went through my buying history and re-discovered these.I wear a petite-28 inch inseam-and for $21.99, I got a really comfortable, well fitting pair of jeans that hold everything in where it belongs but still let me breath normally and feel comfortable after a cheat meal, that don't "grow" a size after several hours or give me "full diaper butt." They are stylish in a classic way that won't look dated in 2 years, the pockets are serviceable and they don't look spray painted on. They are true, un-distressed jeans, not skin tight jeggings pretending to be jeans. I have big, muscular calves and these don't cling to my calves like tights. They fit as described-"classic fit straight leg jeans."One caveat-before you press the "buy" button-look at the material content of the color you have selected. The ones I bought are only 81% cotton. Personally, I would never buy anything with less cotton because in my experience, the lower the cotton content, the higher the stretch out/sag potential becomes.

Unfortunately, these jeans had to be returned. I ordered the same size as a blue pair of the same Lee Riders yet these black jeans were uncomfortably tight. The fabric was nice, the length was fine. The body was just too tight.

I just flat out like these jeans. And they wear for a long long time.

I purchased these because the price was about what I wanted to pay for a pair of jeans, and because I thought that after looking for about a year, I had FINALLY found Lee Classic fit jeans.They were shipped out and arrived quickly in good order......but......they're NOT Lee Classic fit jeans. On my old(er) Lee Classic fit jeans (I bought a couple of pairs in a store a couple of years ago) are clearly marked Classic fit", and they fit me. The pair I ordered here are not marked in any way "Classic fit", and I looked very carefully all over the jeans to see if there was any marking, any label (like my older jeans have) to indicate that they are indeed "Classic fit", and there was nothing--no label, no printing, no tag, to show that they're "classic fit" (vs. relaxed, skinny, or any of the other fits and styles Lee makes).To add insult to injury, the jeans didn't fit the way my other Lee Classic fit jeans fit. I ordered them in two different sizes, given the comments about how the sizing is, just so I'd have a chance that at least one pair might fit. In this case, neither size fit, and neither had any markings, labels, etc. indicating the cut and style.I'd truly hoped that I'd found my favorite jeans online, but no such luck. I returned both pairs, and I'll have to stick with the brick and mortar stores and hope to find them. I used to get them at Sears and J.C. Penney; Sears is no more, and J.C. Penney no longer carries Lee jeans for women. Wal-Mart carries them, but they cater to teeny boppers--the jeans are ripped and the back pockets look as if the glitter fairy was having too much fun. All I want is a nice, ordinary (no glitter on my butt, not at my age) pair of dark jeans that fit.These are not the classic fit that I know and want, and I hope that Amazon will edit their descriptions according.

I really like these jeans. They feel like a good strong denim that will last. I like the width of the leg - not too tight and not loose or baggy. My only issue is that I did have to purchase a size bigger than usual as they were too tight on the waist/butt/hips. I was able to change to a larger size without any difficulty at all and have worn these 2-3 times. They are comfortable and I think they look good. I am very happy with them, purchased 2 more pairs, and think they are great value for money.
