I'd give this six stars if I could. I managed to line the inner aspect of some olympic weight plates so they don't scratch the expensive coating on my barbell sleeves and destroy their resale value. Now they just glide on and off without that metal on metal scraping sound. The only tough part was completely degreasing the inner steel sleeve, but once that was done the adhesion was perfect. On a surface where adhesion needs improving the use of double sided sticky tape is all that is needed. This tape is worth its weight in gold, and I'm glad I discovered it. There are many uses for it.

Arrived at the time specified in an email in good condition. This item was purchased to help stop a sticking drawer in our bedroom as I had previously used a wax to help. This item comes on a roll, easy to cut with scissors then removal of a backing tape. I removed a drawer and stich the tape to the casing. I repeated this for every drawer (x4). Excellent quality. One word of caution, we now have to remember NOT to push the drawer so hard to close as the tape works so well - I almost trapped my fingers! Would defiantly recommend to others and will be purchasing again, when needed.

This works even better than I hoped ! I had been looking for a way of moving my heavy washing machine in and out. "Walking" it used to work but in my restyled kitchen it's in a gap that's not much wider than the machine, so little opportunity of manoeuvring it thay way.My google searches showed that in the USA is available a board for moving stuff like this. I didn't find it in the UK but I discovered it was made of UHMWPE. So I bought this tape and stuck it to two strips of hardboard. The idea being that one rocks the machine forward (foot against machine, hand in door) whilst someone slides the strips under the rear feet, then lifting the front of the machine (again hand in door) the helper can swivel the strips to pick up the front feet. Now the washing machine can be moved with no sweat at all.My floor is tiled, and the washing machine feet are sticky. In use this is a good thing, as we don't want the machine walking about when it spins. I saw plenty of folks online recommending that one just fit teflon furniture slides to the feet, but that defeats the purpose of the sticky feet. This slide-in solution is perfect.

I have a large chest of heavy drawers which absolutely would not move without main force being applied with much cursing because the wooden runners on which they slide are worn, and the drawers were an absolute pain to open and close when full.I measured and cut lengths of this self-adhesive tape and stuck them to the tops of the runners and to the strips of wood that guide the drawers, and magic, the drawers now slide as smoothly as something very smooth indeed.

One side of this tape is very slick and fit for purpose. The other side unfortunately is lacking in adhesion to the point that it is overall not fit for purpose. I am having to return the item. Also on first attempt at application the temporary tape roll fixing caused wastage through poorly finished securing tabs. Very disappointing

I bought it to put on the runners of a big sledge, to aid running in snow. It went on well, stayed on, and the sledge ran very well, better than without it. I docked it a star because it proved more fragile than I’d hoped and was easily damaged by stones in the snow. Not fair to knock off a star as I was using it for a task it wasn’t designed for. There is enough tape still on the roll to replace the tape on the runners a few more times. Pretty good really

I wanted to replace the missing parts on computer mice that allow them to slip easily over a desktop or mouse pad. I had seen some people use felt and self adhesive velour but these will eventually trap dust and they are not really in keeping with the 'original look'.So I asked around and someone suggested self adhesive UHMW tape.Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene tape is a very strong version of the polythene we all use in plastic bags.It also has a 'low coefficient of friction' - it's really slippy and perfect for replacing the parts on the bottom of computer mice that have fallen off over the years.The tape can be cut easily with scissors or a craft knife.The problem is that you will run out of ideas where you can use it!

Good stuff, i used it to decrease a slight gap between the rollers and metal shaft they ran against to give a piece of gym equipment a smoother and slightly quieter movement. Seems to be doing the job, better than the roller straight onto the painted surface which was wearing away.
